Waste Management at Events
Volunteers help with Waste Management at ARCC
ARCC is committed to responsible waste management and is currently in the process of improving all its waste management facilities.
Events run by ARCC now separate waste accordingly – bottles and cans, paper and cardboard, compost and landfill. At the last Magic Winter Festival and Naidoc 2012 events, volunteers assisted members of the public to separate their waste correctly with organic waste was composted on site at the ARCC Community Compost.
Volunteers are always appreciated and needed for events. A schedule is developed for volunteers so they are able to enjoy the festival either before or after volunteering.
